As many of you may know, I’m a bassist, and I’ve made my own website.
Honestly, I don’t find it intuitive at all, but as I learn and gain experience I know the site will improve over time, very similar to how my videos have.
In the beginning, they were rough around the edges, but as time went on, I continued to make more videos, and invest time into improving them, they got better and better.
Q: Why are you making a website? Where are the live streams?
A: I can’t stream right now due to a full time job, but also I’m now in a remote area . The internet isn’t capable of handling streaming well, or cheaply. What I can do is work on creating different content and sharing it in new ways (such as this website)
So, as this bassist continues to make his tabs and videos on YouTube, please bear with the progress of the site.
I want to turn it into more than an advertisement for myself and help create another layer of value for you all, possibly with a blog, or maybe even adding more details about the songs, process, etc.
I highly value constructive feedback. I’ll be implementing a feedback section on the site for any recommendations on how to improve the site or my videos, or new ways to add value. I’ve had people say that adding in the count-in at the beginning of videos and removing the big yellow text at the end of the videos would be helpful, and I’ve been able to implement those changes and improve the videos.
If I don’t know something’s wrong, then I can’t fix it. I’ve had some videos post with issues in the tab or synchronization issues, and I’ve been able to address those because it’s brought to my attention.
If you haven’t explored the site already, here’s the latest version
